Unless you have been under a rock, you know that the Grammy's were last night. I have to admit. I will watch the Grammy's each and every year. It's a habit I got into when I lived overseas and was STARVED for anything American pop culture. So, yesterday, as soon as the red carpet shows began, I was glued to the tv (and unfortunately saw that fcukery of a performance by Nicki Minaj).
Normally, when it comes to red carpet looks, people tend to focus on what folks are wearing. However, since this is a hair blog, I was focused on what people's hair looked like. For the most part, there wasn't a look that I disliked (except for one but I'll elaborate on that later). Last night's looks ran the gamut from classy up-dos to wild, crazy, and free. I would love to try some of these styles in the near future!
My favorite looks for Grammy Night 2012 can be seen on Taraji P. Henson, Corrine Bailey Rae, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Rowland. I just think that they are all pretty and unique in their own way. Take a look:
The one hairstyle I DID NOT like was Rihanna's ratty blonde bird's nest. It just looked awful!! I feel like if she's gonna rock this blonde hair thing, she needs to freaking own it! Even though she looked good, that did not cancel out that monstrosity on her head! Ugh. It was bad.
